Horse Trekking Tour

Overview

Overview

During this trip you will ride a horse over mysterious mountains and incredible steppes. You will spend some nights by the lake, in the forest and by the hot springs.

It is a perfect chance to see birds and wild animals. You will be able to see the two islands in the lake and you can enjoy the sights of the high mountain peaks from your tent.

We don't have predefined tours, we will create a tour together according to your wishes : you can choose the duration, the activities, and the treks you want to do.

This does not include the transfer from Ulaan-Baator. Booking tickets on Mongolian websites can be confusing, so if you want we can book them for you (by plane or bus // we don't add charges on it).

Example of Itinerary

Day 1.

Start at Mongol Ujin Camp. 
You will follow the lake side.
Sleep overnight in a tent at the lake shore.

Day 2.

Visit and enjoy the Hot Springs
Sleep overnight in a ger camp.

Day 3.

Trek in the middle of nowhere, listen and watch nature.

Day 4.

Discover the weird Pencil Rocks.
Sleep overnight in a tent.

Day 5.

Back to Mongol Ujin Camp.

Must be in good shape as you will spend approximately 8 hours on the horse each day.

It will include BBQ, traditional and western dishes. Please let us know in advance if you are a vegetarian. Alcohol is not provided on the trip but tourists are free to bring their own.
